Good to know

Clapham is young, sociable south London — the Common, a high street that barely sleeps, and more restaurants per mile than almost anywhere south of the river. Nine of our apartments are here, clustered around The Pavement and Clapham North: the deepest choice of any neighbourhood we run.

Is it safe? It’s lived-in, well-lit and busy late — the high streets rarely empty before midnight. Keep the usual eye on your phone around the station at closing time, and that’s the extent of the advice.

Getting around: Clapham Common and Clapham North (Northern line) reach the West End in about fifteen minutes, and Clapham Junction — one short bus away — is one of Britain’s best-connected stations for Gatwick and the south coast.
