Good to know
South Kensington is the museum quarter — white stucco terraces, the French lycée and its cafés, three of the country’s great museums in a row. Our flat here is on Queen’s Gate Terrace, one street from Hyde Park and a few minutes from the museums.
Getting around: South Kensington and Gloucester Road stations cover the District, Circle and Piccadilly lines — the latter running direct to Heathrow. Guests here are usually museum-bound families or longer stays that want Zone 1 without noise.
